How do we teach our children that being religious means following Hashem's Torah completely, not just the parts that are convenient? Because I see too many people today who think they're religious because they keep Shabbat but they have no problem looking at forbidden images. Or they eat strictly kosher but they cheat in business. This is not Judaism. This is a costume party.

To teach children that Torah is not a pick-and-choose buffet, parents must embody it fully and without hypocrisy. Children keenly detect inconsistency; live what you preach, always. Educate yourself first. Teach the complete, unedited Torah from a young age, showing genuine excitement. Emphasize it's an all-encompassing, non-optional commitment, including both reward and punishment. Fulfill your divine obligation by actively learning with your children and ensuring their Torah education. Consistent living and complete transmission combat selective observance.
